Comcast Connects Customers to Loved Ones, News from Philippines
November 13, 2013
To help unite families and friends in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan, Comcast will not charge its 10.5 million residential Xfinity Voice customers for calls made to the Philippines between November 8 and 22, 2013. In addition, to help Filipinos living in the Chicago area and elsewhere gain access to important news and updates in the aftermath of the storm, Comcast is making The Filipino Channel (TFC) available at no additional charge through November 15 to all Xfinity TV digital customers in areas in which it’s currently carried. TFC, which has been providing special in-depth coverage of the aftermath of the typhoon from the Philippines, can be found on Channel 670 on Comcast’s Chicago lineup.
