Comcast is celebrating the official grand opening of Fox Valley’s first Xfinity Store in Batavia. Grand opening festivities will take place on Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6. The public is welcome at the following events:
When and What:
Friday, February 5
- 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Prizes and free giveaways*
- 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Meet Chicago White Sox mascot Southpaw
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Live radio appearance with Pete McMurray and Scott Miller from The Drive; Fun giveaways* including a chance to win tickets to the sold out AC/DC concert in Chicago
Saturday, February 6
- 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Prizes and free giveaways*
- 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Meet Chicago White Sox mascot Southpaw
- 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Live radio appearance with Drew Walker from US99.5; Fun giveaways*

About the Batavia Xfinity Retail Store
The Batavia Xfinity store is located in The Shoppes at Windmill Place Shopping Center. The 5,000-square-foot space is designed to give visitors real life, hands-on demonstrations of Xfinity’s range of products and services, from cable TV, high-speed Internet and home phone services, to the company’s home security and home automation platform, Xfinity Home. The store also features iPads and other mobile devices visitors can use to explore Xfinity’s Android and iOS apps. Apps range from Xfinity TV Go, which allows customers to watch live TV, stream On Demand content and download movies and TV shows, to Xfinity Home, which allows customers to manage and monitor their homes while on the go. Along with product and service demos, customers can pay bills, pick up and return equipment and get assistance from trained, knowledgeable sales consultants. Store hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m.
