Expansion follows network investment of $1.4 Billion in Illinois over the last three years, drives economic growth in region
Dixon, IL– September 4, 2024 – Comcast today announced the completion of a project to extend its fiber infrastructure in Dixon, IL, bringing Comcast Business’s secure, high-speed Internet and advanced telecommunication services to the Dixon Gateway business corridor, located along Illinois Route 26 near the Interstate 88 interchange.
With the extension complete, businesses in the area now have access to Comcast Business’s full suite of services, including Internet speeds up to 100 Gigabits per second (Gbps), Ethernet, Advanced Voice, Comcast Business Mobile, and a variety of cloud services.
