Comcast Expands High-Speed Internet Network in Cass County

Expansion follows Comcast’s more than $880 million network investment in Michigan over the last three years
Comcast announced the extension of its next-generation network in Cass County. The expansion brings Comcast’s full suite of Xfinity residential services, including Internet speeds faster than a gigabit, to more than 850 homes in Pokagon and Silver Creek Townships, including homes surrounding the Sister Lakes.

Comcast’s most recent expansion in Cass County is part of the company’s latest investment in southwest Michigan, following its recent network expansion in Berrien County. Overall, Comcast has invested more than $80 billion in the last ten years to grow and evolve its expansive fiber-rich network across the company’s service footprint nationwide, including more than $880 million the company has invested in its network in Michigan over the last three years.
Comcast’s more than 2,300 miles of fiber-rich network infrastructure across southwest Michigan allows the company to offer Internet speeds faster than a gigabit to residential and business customers in its service footprint. In addition, Comcast has more than 65,000 WiFi hotspots in southwest Michigan and more than 23 million nationwide.
