Comcast Opens Xfinity Store in Chicago’s North Park Neighborhood

New customer-focused store showcases Xfinity’s and Comcast Business’ innovative technology, provides convenient location for residents to receive personalized service

Comcast today announced the opening of a new Xfinity store, located at 6179 North Lincoln Avenue in the North Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The company marked the grand opening on November 18 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony joined by local officials.

The new, approximately 2,700-square-foot retail space is designed around the needs of customers, providing them with the opportunity to explore, learn about, and interact directly with Comcast’s full suite of Xfinity residential products and services, including  Xfinity InternetXfinity MobileXfinity’s entertainment options, and Xfinity’s Home Solutions.

The store also features Comcast Business products, including Comcast Business Mobile, as well as NOW products – a line of quality, prepaid Internet, mobile and streaming TV products available on a flexible, month-to-month basis.

“We’re proud to open our newest Xfinity store in North Park, continuing our focus on delivering outstanding service to all 77 neighborhoods in Chicago,” said Chris Smith, Comcast’s Regional Senior Vice President. “Customers can expect expert guidance, interactive product demos, and access to the latest in connectivity and entertainment.”

In addition to product and service demonstrations, the store offers a full range of customer services, including bill payments, equipment pickup and returns, and support from trained, knowledgeable sales and service consultants. 

The new Xfinity store in North Park is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Customers are welcome to stop in the new store or they can schedule an appointment online in advance. Comcast provides gigabit+ speeds to homes and businesses in all 77 of Chicago’s neighborhoods. The company has more than 6,300 miles of fiber-rich network infrastructure and more than 450,000 WiFi hotspots throughout the city.With the addition of the North Park location, Comcast now operates nine Xfinity store locations in the City of Chicago.
