August 12, 2020 – Monday evening’s historic storm caused significant damage to infrastructure in locations across Illinois. Comcast crews have been in the field day and night working to repair damage to our network and restore service since the storm passed through.
In many situations, our crews must wait until crews from electric and other utilities remove debris, repair or install poles and lines, restore power and ensure that the site is safe before they can begin work.
