New customer-focused store showcases Xfinity’s innovative technology
October 4, 2022 – Comcast today announced that a new Xfinity Store in Wheaton, IL, is slated to open later this fall at 1 Rice Lake Sq. in the Rice Lake Square shopping center. The 3,600-square-foot store will be designed entirely around the needs of customers, providing them with the opportunity to explore, learn about and interact directly with Xfinity’s products and services, ranging from the company’s mobile phone service, Xfinity Mobile, high-speed Internet and cable TV, to its home security and automation platform, Xfinity Home. The store also features iPads and other mobile devices visitors can use to test Xfinity’s mobile apps, which include:
- Xfinity, which allows high-speed Internet customers to personalize and control their home WiFi experience;
- Xfinity Hotspots, which connects Internet customers to the network’s more than 20 million hotspots across the country and around 2 million in the region;
- Xfinity Stream, which allows customers to watch live TV anywhere at home over WiFi, watch more than 200 live channels outside their home, stream thousands of On Demand choices on-the-go and download movies and TV shows; and
- My Account, which allows customers to view their bills, make payments, troubleshoot service issues and more.

Along with product and service demos, customers will be able to pay bills, pick up and return equipment and get assistance from trained, knowledgeable sales and service consultants.
